Pen & Ink Drawings
​I participated in Inktober which was created by Jake Parker, and created a new drawing for each day in October based on the official prompt list. Participating in this daily challenge allowed me to force myself to think more creatively than usual and manage my time more efficiently. Creating a unique design each day was difficult but enjoyable, and I posted the drawings on social media every day.
LESTER THE SNAKE
Colored Pencil Drawing
This drawing is inspired by photos my brother and I took of a beautiful snake
in our front yard that we named Lester.
This drawing is a recreation of one of those photos. Artistic liberties were taken with the colors (especially the grass) to make the image appear more vibrant
and stylized.
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG (2020)
Character Redesign
After the severe backlash toward the Sonic 2019 movie trailer and character design, I redesigned the character with a design more faithful to the source material. I removed the uncanny, humanoid elements (human-like eyes, mouth, teeth, hands, and proportions) and replaced them with more stylized traits.
